Apple Inc is now worth a staggering $500 Billion and it might hit the $1 Trillion stage soon. This is amazing since the iPhone 5 maker was almost broke in 1996.

And many analyst believe that Apple will keep on growing this year because of their product scheduled to be release this year (iPad 3 and iPhone 5).

Leading up to last week’s event, like everyone else, I kept reading the rumors about a new iPhone with a larger screen and completely different form factor. Quite frankly, I was hoping they were wrong. (For the record, I stated that I heard the screen size rumor was wrong weeks ago.) The iPhone 4′s design is the pinnacle of smartphone design in my opinion. I simply could not imagine how they could alter it to make it better. Even making it thinner would mean that it wouldn’t fit as nicely in your hands for taking pictures. Android fanboys are going to love that statement.

I’m happy that Apple decided not to change the form factor even though they had to know there would be some backlash from a certain segment of the population (read: idiots). Instead, Apple focused on the other thing they do best: refining already great products to make them better. The iPhone 4 was a great product. The best smartphone ever made. Now it cedes that title to the iPhone 4S.

The iPhone 4S is a great device for some, but what if you’re thinking of upgrading from an iPhone 4? That’s a tougher call. The phone is faster, to be sure, and has an amazing camera. And of course, you can’t get Siri unless you have a 4S… but I just don’t know if any of those reasons are compelling enough to convince previous buyers to upgrade. The concept is a particularly hard sell for Verizon customers. The gap between this year’s model and last year’s model isn’t as wide as Apple would probably like.

For this review, I returned to the iPhone after a fairly long period of using and testing other devices. Spending a week with Apple’s newest phone, I’m reminded again of just what makes the company’s products so special. It’s not specs, services, or apps. This phone is not perfect. Certainly it can be improved. But there is something here, beyond the screen and CPU, beyond iCloud, something under the surface. Some intangible spark.

Is this the best phone ever made? That’s debatable. But I can tell you this: the iPhone 4S is pretty damn cool.

Android phones seem to come out every Tuesday at 3:45 p.m. Apple updates iOS and the iPhone only once a year. So Apple had a lot of catching up to do, even some leapfrogging. There are some rough spots here and there; for example, every now and then the 4S’s camera app gets stuck on its startup screen. And while the battery still gets you through one full day, standby time is shorter than before (200 hours versus 300). But over all, Apple has done an excellent job.

The question isn’t what’s in a name — it’s what’s in a phone. And the answer is: “A lot of amazing technology. And some of it feels like magic.”

As you noticed, the screen is wider and it is thinner as compared to iPhone 4. But of course, this is only a mockup design which has no strong proof. Whatever Apple has, we will all know on September 2011.

iPhone user guide - Portrait View

Good thing iOS 5 has a lot of features and it includes the portrait view lock. When it is set to lock, the portrait view will always be a portrait. How to lock it?

iPhone 4 user guide – Follow these simple procedure to lock the view.

1. Press the home button twice.
It will show all the iPhone 4 apps running at the background.

2. Scroll it by swiping the area to the right until you reach the play button.

3. Tap the first icon apps that has a lock symbol and it will lock the portrait orientation.

You can now tilt your iPhone horizontally and it will not change the display.

What’s new with the iOS 5?

1. iMessage – new messaging service for iOS 5 users. Now iPod, iPhones and iPad user can exchange text messages, videos, locations and even contact data. iPhone users will not adjust with this service because it will be built in to the standard text message. Parents will love this because they will just buy an iPod to their kids and they can exchange message immediately.

2. PC Free – iOS 5 devices will no longer needed to connect to a Mac or PC. Thanks to iCloud, this is now possible. The user just connect to iCloud using their Apple id. iCloud will back-up their photos and apps immediately. It will download any updates from the current user iPhone apps.

3. Notification Center – the new iOS 5 added a great feature. User will no longer interrupted with new message when they are busy playing because the notification will be shown at the top of the screen.

iPhone user guide – iPhone clock apps is one of those apps that is not utilize all the time but if you are an iPhone user that needs to know the time of other country like California then you should take advantage the power of the Clock apps.

I use this all the time because of my relatives who lives in other country. If I want to contact them, I just check their time first so that I know if they are sleeping or not. How did I do that in my iPhone 4/3GS?

Here is a simple procedure on how to add another country in your iPhone clock app:

1. Tap the clock app icon.

2. Once the app is open, tap the world clock.

3. Select the plus button at the top right corner.

4. Type the name of the country, if it is available then select it.

5. You should see the country added in the main lists now.

This tool is very helpful especially those freelancer who has a client in another timezone or country. You can also use this clock app as a timer, stop watch and alarm clock.

Apple will fork over between $100 million and $150 million in advanced payments to the four major music labels in order to get its iCloud off the ground, three separate sources told The Post.

The Cupertino, Calif., tech giant has agreed to pay the labels between $25 million to $50 million each, as an incentive to get on board, depending on how many tracks consumers are storing.

That’s a huge sum and Music Labels are very happy with the deal. According to the report, Apple finalized the deal to the publisher of music.
